Materials and Method: In this cross-sectional study, a sample of 152 female and 98 male studentsresiding in the dormitories of Kurdistan University of Medical Sciences were selected bystratified random sampling method in 2016. All the included students completed aquestionnaire with two parts, sociodemographic information and the standard Walker’slifestyle questionnaire. Data were analyzed by the independent samples t-test, Mann-WhitneyU test, Kruskal-Wallis, and Spearman correlation coefficients. Results: The mean score of health promoting lifestyle was 124.22 ± 17.98 from a maximum scoreof 208, indicating a moderate situation. The highestmean in the subscales was (23/94±4/42) for physical activity and the lowest was (16/40±4/80) for spiritual growth. There were significant associations between health promoting lifestyle (HPL) and marital status and field of study, but no significant associations between health-promoting lifestyle and gender Education and parental occupation. Conclusion: This study showed that the score of health-promoting lifestyle is average among the students of Kurdistan University of Medical Sciences. Therefore, targeted interventions should be made to promote health-promoting lifestyle among these students.}, Keywords = {Health promotion, Lifestyle, Student, Dormitory}, volume = {3}, Number = {1}, pages = {1-12}, publisher = {Iran University of Medical Sciences}, url = {http://rsj.iums.ac.ir/article-1-61-en.html}, eprint = {http://rsj.iums.ac.ir/article-1-61-en.pdf}, journal = {Rahavard Salamat Journal}, issn = {}, eissn = {2588-3089}, year = {2017} } @article{ author = {}, title = {Predictors of skin cancer prevention in student based on BASNEF Model}, abstract ={Abstract Background: Skin cancer is one of the most common cancers in the world and in the past decades its incidence has increased a lot. However, this type of cancer is largely preventable through protective behaviors. This study aimed to determine the most important predictors that effect on protective behaviors based on BAZNEF model in midwifery students in Urmia. Methods: This Descriptive analysis study was conducted on 100 midwifery students. The samples were collected using stratified random sampling method. We used a questionnaires for collecting the dada that consists of two parts: demographic characteristics and model structures (attitude, enabling factors, the subjective norms, behavioral intention and behavior). Data were analyzed with using Spearman correlation test and regression with use the backward strategy. Results: The results showed that the Mean age of participants was 68/1 ± 15/21 and there was a significant direct correlation between marital status, economic status and maternal education level and History of burn with preventable behaviors from cancer. Mother and fathers educational level, subjective norms and enabling factors predicted 49% of preventable behaviors of skin cancer. Conclusion: Based on the results of this study was suggested that enabling factors and subjective norms for designing and implementing of interventions were used in youth more than another factors to skin cancer prevention.}, Keywords = {Keywords: Skin Cancer, BAZNEF Model, Predictors, Student}, volume = {3}, Number = {1}, pages = {13-23}, publisher = {Iran University of Medical Sciences}, url = {http://rsj.iums.ac.ir/article-1-62-en.html}, eprint = {http://rsj.iums.ac.ir/article-1-62-en.pdf}, journal = {Rahavard Salamat Journal}, issn = {}, eissn = {2588-3089}, year = {2017} } @article{ author = {FarajiKhiavi, Farzad and Qolipour, Mohammad and Dashtinejad, Zahra and Mir, Im}, title = {Relationship between outpatients’ examination time and perceived service quality in teaching hospitals of Ahvaz: 2015}, abstract ={Background and Objectives: For an effective visit, the correct and appropriate use of time is necessary. The aim of this study was to determine relationship between outpatients’ visit length and perceived ‎service quality in teaching hospitals of Ahvaz. Materials and Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted participating 550 outpatients referring to teaching hospitals of Ahvaz in 2015. Each outpatients’ visit length was measured and also their perceived service quality was assessed using a SERVQUAL questionnaire (Chronbach’s Alpha=0.84). The data were analyzed using correlation and regression modeling. Results: The mean of visit length and the perceived service quality were 4.88±0.12 minutes and 2.96±0.38, respectively. The longest visit time (Mean= 8.61 minutes) was related to Psychiatry.  Pearson correlation test between outpatients’ visit length and dimensions of "communication and interaction" (p<0.0001), "having authority" (p<0.0001), "continuity of service" (p<0.0001), "respect" (p<0.0001), "safety" (p<0.0001), "prevention" (p<0.0001) and "reliability" (p<0.0001), and "total perceived service quality" (p<0.0001) was significant. According to the regression formula, the linear relationship between perceived service quality and outpatient`s visit length was proved.  Conclusion: There was a relationship between outpatients’ visit length and perceived service quality. The object of this study is the neural network modeling of noise exposure in Tehran bus transportation drivers. Material and Methods: Noise levels in 90 buses were sampled in three separate sub-sample including (1)30 Ikaroos buses (2)30 Man buses (3)30 Shahab buses, which were selected by simple random sampling. The results of the measurements and parameters of the bus type, age of buses and work duration of the bus drivers was modeled by neural network analysis. Results: From the investigated parameters, the age of buses had the most importance (0.700) in the noise exposure of bus drivers. After the age of buses, the location of the engine (0.174) and work duration of the drivers (0.125), were importance in the noise exposure of bus drivers, respectively. Excessive anger in schools with Many problems associated. Given that anger as an emotional factor can be controlled through education and this at school is the teachers.  The aim of this study was to determine trait anger in teachers of primary schools. Materials and Methods: This study is descriptiv. The population of primary school teachers in Kermanshah city that randomly selected. The sample size is 285 teachers in Kermanshah city. The data collecting instruments were standard questionnaire, State-Trait Anger Expression(staxi2) Inventory. The data were analyzed using SPSS version 20 and R software. Results: The highest averages in measures of mood and angry reaction, respectively  7.24±2.70, 11.76±3.58, it is in the sixth grade teachers. The results showed that there is a significant relationship between type of school and teachers anger(P< 0.01). Spearman correlation coefficients showed that there was a significant relationship between the subscales of trait anger(P < 0.01). The purpose of this study was to predict the puberty health behaviour in female secondary school students based on the theory of planned behavior (TPB) in Khamir city. Materials and Methods: Cross-sectional study was conducted among 120 female secondary school students. Sampling was random sampling.  The data were collected by a questionnaire including demographic characteristics and a questionnaire based on the TPB constructs. The collected data was analyzed using SPSS version 22 and t-test, ANOVA and Pearson's Correlation Coefficient and linear regression to predict the behavior in a significant level of p<0.05. Results: About 85.8% of students were moderately aware about this period. Also, the majority of students (81.7%) produced a moderate performance in their adulthood. Multiple regression analyses revealed that attitude could predict the intention for puberty health behaviour. Furthermore, behavioral intention and knowledge predicted puberty health behaviours. Conclusion: Based on the results, the behavioral intention and knowledge predicted the puberty health behaviours.
