Background: The electronic and electrical wastes are special types of wastes, the main components of which include capacitors, transistors, ICSI, electronic circuits, cathode and anode components, and have toxicity, pathogenicity and stability in the environment and even in the body of organisms. , Corrosive installations and equipment, and the like. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to investigate and identify the factors affecting the release of these metals and especially the thallium element in the surrounding environment.
Methods: In order to study the effect of different factors such as temperature, pH, hamic acid and time on the release of thallium from such waste to aquatic and terrestrial environments has been studied. For this purpose, the selected parts were analyzed and examined.
Results: The results indicated that in the aqueous medium, the amount of thallium penetration increased at a very acidic and very alkaline pH. Also, in an aqueous medium, the temperature increase increases the penetration of the thallium element in the environment, and the effect of the contact time parameter is also proportional to the pH variation.
Conclusion: Increasing of moisture in the soil enhances the release of thallium in the environment.
