Introduction: Female headed women are considered a vulnerable group of society, facing many difficulties and obstacles that affect their quality of life. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of using welfare plans and relief committee on the quality of life of women headed by Ravansar households.
Methods: The statistical population of this study was 550 female headed households. The sample was selected using random sampling method and Cochran formula. Data were collected by questionnaires of the World Health Organization's demographics and quality of life questionnaires. Data were analyzed by SPSS software version 21 with two T-test tests.
Results: 32.9% of women were in the age group of 31-40 years old, 37.8% were widows, 36.9% were illiterate, 73.3% were unemployed, and the average quality of life was 54.1%. Among the welfare plans and the Relief, Employment, Housing, Education and Combined Committee, there is a significant relationship with quality of life. The employment plan has had the greatest impact on women's quality of life.
Results: The results indicate that there is a serious need for planning by the authorities in the direction of effective interventions and, consequently, improving the quality of life in this vulnerable society.
